FOUNDATIONS OF CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY
The first eight hexagrams of the I Ching lay the groundwork for understanding the dynamics of existence and human development. They begin with the cosmic duality of The Creative and The Receptive—Heaven and Earth—as primal forces of action and support. From this interplay arise the challenges of beginning (Difficulty at the Beginning), the need for guidance (Youthful Folly), and the virtue of patience (Waiting). The cycle then turns to interpersonal tension (Conflict), the organization of collective will (The Army), and the formation of lasting bonds (Holding Together).
