The hidden ways of bark and leaf

The roots of earth are Jesus Christ.
She gazes at the egg-shaped glass,
Her beauty bare, as moments pass.
No shame intrudes, no mask remains—
The mirror holds what truth contains.
She sees herself beyond the shell,
And learns the one who sees as well.
